The internet was flooded with photographs on Christmas Day, as families shared images of their celebrations. Celebs too were up to it, posting images of their intimate family gatherings.
Singer Dolly Parton looked like she hired a studio and professional photographer for her snap with Santa Claus, while actor Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock posted a sweet image of himself and five year old daughter watching The Lion King, for "the 987th time." Actress Elsa Pataky seemed happy that Santa Claus had brought her a Thor action figure (her husband is Thor actor Chris Hemsworth), while actress Halle Berry confessed to being on Santa's 'Naughty List' for supposedly accidentally burning down Barbie's house.
Chrissie Teigan meanwhile posted adorable footage of her children putting out cookies and carrots for Santa and his reindeer, on Christmas Eve.
A day earlier, she also spoke about her sadness at her recent miscarriage, and her sense of loss at never being able to have another child. Another touching post came from the Bryant family, when Vanessa posted an image of herself and her children, to mark their first Christmas since the death of husband Kobe and daughter Gigi in a helicopter crash. She also shared a throw back image, of the whole family from Christmas 2019, with the words "always together, never apart."
Elsewhere other families took delight in sharing cheesy photographs showing matching looks, including Victoria Beckham and Reese Witherspoon, who opted for pyjamas and onesies, respectively.
