Heels worth the weight?

"Drop a dress size in under a month!" That's the bold claim from the manufacturers of the Antelope shoe, a pair of which is guaranteed to set you teetering and wobbling your way to a slimmer physique.
The magic lies in a spring-mounted heel and a concave sole which
unsteadies the body and forces the wearer to use their calf, thigh and
abdomen muscles more than usual to remain balanced.
While toning trainers were first introduced by the Swiss engineer Karl
Muller in the early 1990s, this could be the first pair of heels to hit
the high street. Still in the Research & Development stages,
developers say Antelopes will be available in a range of styles and
colours and retail for around Dh435.
