Matthew Perry releases limited-edition line of 'Friends' merchandise

The actor, who played Chandler Bing, has released an eight-piece collection with unisex T-shirts and hoodies, as well as items for dogs and babies

A matter of days before Friends: The Reunion airs, Matthew Perry has unveiled a collection of merchandise inspired by his character on the show, Chandler Bing.

The eight-piece collection is available to buy now, and includes items for men, women, children and pets.

Perry announced the collection on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself wearing a hoodie, with the caption: "Could I be more me? I'm releasing a new limited-edition merchandise collection only available for three weeks. Get yours in the link in my bio so people will know just how 'you' you are."

It seems the range already has a celebrity following, as David Beckham commented: "I need one."

There are nods to his popular character on each of the pieces. As well as the 'Could I be more me?' hoodie, there is also a timely T-shirt that reads, 'Could I be more vaccinated?', both in the famous Friends font.

There is a T-shirt and hoodie with a sarcasm dictionary definition, along with a photo of Perry in character.

Two of the garments refer to Bing's love of baths, which read, 'Could I have had a longer day?' For tots, there is a 'I'll talk to you about it later' babygrow, and pet dogs can be treated to a 'Could I be any more of a dog?' bandana.

Pieces start at $14.99, for the dog bandana, and $15.99 for the babygrow; adult T-shirts cost $26.99 and hoodies cost $44.99.

The unscripted Friends reunion episode is set to air on HBO Max on Thursday, May 27. As well as reuniting on set, the cast also sit down with James Corden for an interview.

Along with the full original cast, the special will feature guest appearances from the likes of Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, Malala Yousafzai, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler and Reese Witherspoon.
