'Little Amal' puppet representing refugee children begins 8,000-kilometre journey

The giant moving puppet 'Little Amal' has set off on a four-month trip across Europe to highlight the plight of child migrants. The 3.5-metre marionette is part of 'The Walk', an 8,000-kilometre journey that will end in England in November. The project’s artistic director says Little Amal’s colossal size is meant to inspire people to 'think big and act bigger'.
