Fog and mist caused poor visibility in some parts of the country in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to the National Centre for Meteorology.
At around 5.30am, visibility reduced in some internal, coastal, northern, eastern and central areas to less than 500 metres.
Areas included Al Shawamekh as well as the Abu Dhabi-Dubai road and the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain road.


The weather is expected to be fair to partly cloudy in general and hazy at times with a slight rise in temperatures, which are expected to reach highs of 29°C internally and lows of 7°C internally.
Humidity is likely to increase at night and in the early hours of the morning over some coastal and internal areas, reaching 90 per cent internally, with a probability of fog and mist formation in the north.
The sea will be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and in the Oman Sea with light to moderate winds, reaching 34km/h at times.
