UAE braces for hotter days ahead after stormy weekend

DUBAI// Stormy weather over the weekend has been replaced by calm skies and temperatures that are expected to rise in the coming days.

The weather will be fair in general across the Emirates and partly cloudy over eastern areas, according to the National Centre of Metrology and Seismology in Abu Dhabi.

Much of the country will experience light winds and relative humidity will increase during the night and in the early morning tomorrow over some coastal and internal areas, resulting in a slight chance of fog and mist.

Daytime temperatures will be as high as 28°C along the coast with lows of 16°C at night.

Temperatures in internal areas of the country will be as high as 31°C with lows of 11°C.

The weather will remain relatively hot and humid through to the weekend.
