Mandarin signs on Dubai-Abu Dhabi road to welcome President Xi Jinping to the UAE



China's President Xi Jinping and his delegation will be welcomed to the UAE on Thursday by road signs projecting messages in Mandarin.

A sign on the E11 Abu Dhabi to Dubai road reads: 'The UAE welcomes Xi Jinping, President of the Republic of China'.

A cultural festival will run during and after Mr Xi first visit to the country.

His trip will include a tour of Louvre Abu Dhabi and a classical music performance at Emirates Palace.
