AJMAN // Three Emiratis have been arrested on suspicion of breaking into shops in Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and the Al Manama area of Ajman.
Colonel Khaled Mohammed Al Nuaimi, director of the outer regions police department in Ajman, said officers received several reports about break-ins at stores in Al Manama.
Police were able to identity three suspects, aged from 19 to 25, Col Al Nuaimi said.
“We found two of the defendants are brothers who live in Abu Dhabi. Through coordination and cooperation with Abu Dhabi Police, we arrested them at their house.”
The third suspect was arrested on the east coast, Col Al Nuaimi said. “In coordination with Sharjah and UAQ Police, he was arrested in Khor Fakkan.”
A total of 11 mobile phones, Dh20,000, financial papers and a sports car the suspects used in their crimes were seized by police.
The men’s case have been passed to the public prosecution.
