Weather officials warned of blowing dust that could reduce visibility down to 1,500 metres today. The situation is expected to continue until 2pm. The National Centre for Meteorology said people should be on the lookout if they were planning outdoor activities. Otherwise, the weather will be hot and hazy during the daytime and humidity will increase at night and early morning. The temperature as of 7.30am reached an average of 36°C, and is expected to reach 42°C by noon.
