ABU DHABI // Majid Kids TV, which has played an important role in reviving the cultural and historical heritage of the country, marks its first anniversary.

In a year, Majid TV has built a strong viewer base on social media.

It has more than two million Facebook fans, 100k followers on both Twitter and Instagram, and more than 100 million minutes watched on YouTube.

The channel originated from Majid magazine - both part of Abu Dhabi Media, which celebrates the first anniversary of its launch.

H E Mohamed Ebraheem Al Mahmood, chairman and managing director of Abu Dhabi Media, said, “In 12 months since we launched Majid Kids TV, we have been able to successfully build a central media body which supports Abu Dhabi’s mission to preserve the UAE’s culture, heritage and rich traditions.”
