AJMAN // Dozens of water pumps have been deployed across Ajman to clear streets after Wednesday’s torrential rains.
Ajman Municipality are using more than 64 pumps to drain any flooding away from roads and streets and make routes safe for drivers.
Main roads in emirate were not badly affected, according to Yahya Ibrahim Ahman, general director of the municipality.
He urged residents to contact them if they have problems related to the weather.
Colonel Ali Humaid Al Musaibi, director of the Traffic and Patrols Department at Ajman Police, said they did not receive any calls about traffic accidents in the emirate on Wednesday.
