To mark the launch of its Polo S watch, Piaget invited eight “game changing” men from around the world to become friends of the brand. These men include Hollywood superstar Ryan Reynolds, actor and director Michael B Jordan, French masterchef Jean-François Piège, Belgian tennis star David Goffin and, in a nod to the importance of this part of the world, Emirati entrepreneur Mohammed Sultan Al Habtoor. To celebrate the partnership, Piaget collaborated with the Emirati filmmaker <a href="https://twitter.com/abdullaalkaabi%3Flang%3Den">Abdulla Al Kaabi</a>, to create a series of short films starring Al Habtoor. Set in and around the city and deserts of Dubai, Al Habtoor is depicted moving through different environments, aided by his trusted timepiece. The film offers views of the city not normally seen by visitors, and closes with a challenge to the audience to ‘play a different game’.
