Ladies-only gym opens at Bawabat Al Sharq

Fitness First gym spanning 1,500 square metres caters to women with group classes, swimming pool, freestyle training area and more.

Fitness First has opened a ladies-only gym at Bawabat Al Sharq in Abu Dhabi. The 1,500-square-metre club has the usual array of cardio equipment, free weights and weight machines, as well as a swimming pool, freestyle training area and group training. Classes include spinning, Pilates and swing yoga, among others.

“We recognise women often need to fit in their fitness activities around their personal life situations, whether that’s home, family or work. They need a gym where they can work out with convenience, the latest innovation in fitness and result-oriented focus, and at the same time walk into the gym for more relaxed purposes as well, like a sauna or swim,” said George Flooks, Fitness First chief operating officer.
