The Statistics Centre Abu Dhabi (Scad) was established in 2008 to develop and organise statistical work in the UAE, with particular attention being paid to Abu Dhabi.
The capital’s official data collection agency, it produces statistics that keep in line with the emirate’s move towards sustainable development.
The centre also oversees the collection, classification, storage, analysis and publication of official statistics, as well as the release of social, demographic, economic, environmental and cultural surveys.
