The luxury Italian eyeware brand Glassing has launched its second pop-up location in Dubai, at City Walk 2.
Worn by the likes of the Kardashians, Justin Beiber, Kate Moss, Chris Brown, Anna Dello Russo and Cristiano Ronaldo, Glassing is famed for its unexpected shapes and unusual colour options (the irregular hexagonal shape and purple lenses of the frame-free GP7s being an excellent case in point). UAE residents should also look out for the WeAreDubai collection, which has a three-dimensional, binocular-like feel to it.
The brand was launched 2010 by Alessandro Forte and Stefano Ottone, two friends from Milan, and is currently offered in 1,400 optical stores around the globe, with four flagship stores in Italy, in Milan, Portofino, Taormina and Capri. Its first Dubai pop-up debuted in JBR, while its second is to be found next to Bvlgari IL Cioccolato and opposite the Coco Factory in City Walk 2.
