Talal Al Dhiyebi, executive director of asset management at Aldar. “There is huge demand out there,” he said. “Abu Dhabi generally has 2 per cent vacancy as per the latest JLL report so there's huge demand that is increasing year on year so we see the opportunity for more retail in Abu Dhabi and we're happy to be competing with everyone else.
