Anyone hoping to catch a glimpse of Robert Pattinson 'in action' (so to speak) in Bel Ami, which comes out on Thursday May 17, may be upset (but unsurprised) to hear that some of the scenes have been cut. Our sources tell us that a number of scenes have been removed by the censors and, given that the story - based on Guy de Maupassant's 1885 novel - sees R-Pattz' character 'entertain' a series of well-connected ladies in late 19th century France, no prizes for guessing that the cut scenes are the raunchy ones. Although we haven't seen the censored version (we saw the full thing when it was premiered back in Berlin, oh yes), we're fairly sure it's still watchable. Just don't go expecting Pattinson to look any different to his role in Twilight (white-faced, extremely sullen and as if he's about to take a cheeky bite out of the nearest neck), because he doesn't...
