We all know that American supermodel Gigi Hadid is in Dubai today, Monday, October 10, promoting her collaboration with fashion giant Tommy Hilfger. But, it seems she may have brought more than the collection with her – gal pal Kendall Jenner, 20, may also be here for the ride.
A photo posted on Instagram earlier today shows what appears to be Hadid’s BFF, kitted out in an abaya and a niqab, in front of the Burj Khalifa.
The Instagram photo was posted by DJ Neptune, the boss of UAE-based celebrity management company Next Class Agency with the caption reading: “Sightseeing with @KendallJenner in Dubai #KendallJenner #AngelInDisguise #BurjKhalifa #MyDubai #Dubai #CatchUsIfUCan #UltimatePrivacy #BestSelfieEver #NextClassAgency #InRealLifeImLifeGoals”.
However, some believe the photo may be photoshopped. DJ Neptune hasn’t responded to any comments and as of yet, no other sightings of the reality star have made their way to social media.
Even so, UAE-based fans of Jenner went on social media to express their excitement of her “sudden visit”.

Jenner’s sister Kim Kardashian West was due in Dubai herself this week but postponed the event last week.
Hadid, 20, will make a public appearance at Dubai Mall at 4pm on behalf of Hilfiger.

HIV on the rise in the region
A 2019 United Nations special analysis on Aids reveals 37 per cent of new HIV infections in the Mena region are from people injecting drugs.
New HIV infections have also risen by 29 per cent in western Europe and Asia, and by 7 per cent in Latin America, but declined elsewhere.
Egypt has shown the highest increase in recorded cases of HIV since 2010, up by 196 per cent.
Access to HIV testing, treatment and care in the region is well below the global average.
Few statistics have been published on the number of cases in the UAE, although a UNAIDS report said 1.5 per cent of the prison population has the virus.

Water waste
In the UAE’s arid climate, small shrubs, bushes and flower beds usually require about six litres of water per square metre, daily. That increases to 12 litres per square metre a day for small trees, and 300 litres for palm trees.
Horticulturists suggest the best time for watering is before 8am or after 6pm, when water won't be dried up by the sun.
