Police in Abu Dhabi have issued a safety plea after sharing footage of a danger driver who caused a three-car road smash.

The video footage shows the motorist suddenly changing lanes without warning, causing the vehicle to wedge between cars on either side.

The front wheel of the car is seen to fly off onto the road, such is the force of the impact.

One of the vehicles is sent careering off the road, narrowly missing other road users.

Police shared the footage on their official Instagram account, asking drivers how they could avoid such incidents when behind the wheel.
