ABU DHABI // The fifth Support Units Shooting Festival kicked off on Saturday under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces. The event, which is taking place in Sabkha Al Hafar district, on the Al Ain-Abu Dhabi Road, will host many shooting competitions for different age groups, entertainment and military shows and exhibitions and will run until March 11. The festival aims to develop the individual and team shooting skills of young Emiratis, promote a spirit of competition, patriotism and loyalty to the country, as well as strengthen ties between the military and the public.
