DUBAI// Doctors visiting from abroad to practise in Dubai will only be allowed to do so if a hospital already has an existing doctor working in the same field.
The tightening up of regulations will ensure better continuity of care for patients once the visiting practitioner leaves.
The new guidelines are applicable for all health facilities including private health clinics and those in the free zone, but exclude Dubai Healthcare City.
Previous rules required visiting doctors to complete lengthy licensing formalities for full-time positions. The new requirements are strictly regulated but ensure licenses are issued on a fast-track basis to provide convenience for highly qualified visiting professionals.
The maximum number of times a license can be renewed is three times in one year and the maximum duration for every visit is one month.

How to come clean about financial infidelity
- Be honest and transparent: It is always better to own up than be found out. Tell your partner everything they want to know. Show remorse. Inform them of the extent of the situation so they know what they are dealing with.
