The drive by the National Committee to Combat Human Trafficking will run in multiple languages until June. Advertising helpline numbers for informers and victims to call will be part of the campaign. “We have realised that the more people are aware about what constitutes human trafficking and how it could be avoided, the more effective our counter-trafficking strategy will be,” said Anwar Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and NCCHT chairman.
English and Arabic newspaper advertisements and airport billboards are targeted at the public, radio spots in English, Arabic, Hindi and Tagalog are aimed at victims and traffickers.
