Beyoncé will reportedly perform at the pre-wedding celebrations of Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal later today.
The singer is flying into Udaipur at midday – along with her 60-strong dance troupe – to perform at the lavish celebration.
Businesswoman Ambani, the daughter of India’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, is set to marry Anand Piramal in Mumbai on Tuesday. The pre-wedding celebrations began in the desert city of Udaipur on Saturday, with guests reportedly being flown in on 100 chartered flights.
A host of Bollywood stars are on the guest list, including Priyanka Chopra – fresh from her own wedding to Nick Jonas last week. A number of high-profile politicians are also set to attend, including Bill and Hillary Clinton.
According to Indian media, guests will have access to a specially created app which will guide them through the celebrations, with the private Beyoncé concert taking place on Sunday evening.
John Legend performed at the couple's engagement celebrations, which took place in Lake Como in Italy.
The marriage will bring together two of the most powerful families in India, with the Ambanis heading up Reliance Industries, while the Piramals deal in real estate and pharmaceuticals.
