Stolen credit card information used for buying 37 flight tickets

Three men used stolen credit card information to buy more than Dh99,000 worth of tickets from Emirates airline, a court heard yesterday.

Three men used stolen credit card information to buy more than Dh99,000 worth of tickets from Emirates airline, the Dubai Criminal Court heard yesterday.

Prosecutors said that JA, a security guard, and NS, a policeman, both 27-year-old Emiratis, and MR, a 23-year-old Palestinian driver, bought 37 flight tickets online after stealing the credit card information.

NS and MR denied charges of forgery and fraud. JA did not appear in court as he was taking an exam, according to his lawyer. The case was adjourned to June 27.
