High temperatures expected for Dubai World Cup this weekend

Get ready for some hot outfits and even hotter weather

Horse racing fans heading to this weekend's Dubai World Cup should be set for sweltering weather as temperatures are expected to hit 38°C or 40°C.

Dubai is expected to range between 35°C to 36°C during the upcoming days, but will feel more like a dizzying 38°C, according to Accuweather, with nights expected to stay warm at 26°C.

Some areas will hit a scorching 41.2°C, forecasters said, with the heat relieved slightly by a light to moderate wind. There is also a chance of morning mist formation.

The highest temperatures recorded in the country on Wednesday was 41.2°C in Mezaira, while the lowest was 10.8°C in Damtha.
