Zelda's Link to get first all-new 3DS adventure

A whole new version of The Legend of Zelda will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS.

Everyone's favourite princess-rescuing, green-tunic-wearing adventurer is set to return to the (very) small screen. Nintendo has announced that a whole new The Legend of Zelda will be coming to the Nintendo 3DS, reuniting Link with the same world from 1992's A Link to the Past which came out on the Super Nintendo (remember that?).

The as-yet-untitled follow-up is due out later this year, with new stories and levels, and will be the first all-new game starring Link for the glasses-free 3-D hand-held device. Other games coming out on the 3DS include Yoshi's Island and Mario Party.
