UAE weather: High humidity could lead to fog with temperatures over 40°C

Humidity levels will reach 95 per cent along the coast and 90 per cent inland.

ABU DHABI // Hot and humid conditions are set to continue in the UAE on Tuesday leading to fog in some areas.

Humidity will reach 95 per cent along the coast and 90 per cent inland, the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology said.

Coastal areas are expected to see a maximum temperature of 41°C and minimum of 29°C, while highs of 44°C and lows of 23°C are forecast inland.

The highest temperature recorded yesterday was 45.5°C in Sweihan at 2.15pm.

Seas will be rough at times with offshore wind reaching 33kph on the Arabian Gulf and 37kph on the Oman Sea.
