The UAE participated in the Arab Focal Points Meeting at the UN Alliance of Civilisations at the Arab League in Cairo on Sunday.
Mohammed Rashid Al Shehi, who is in charge of financial and administrative affairs at the UAE Embassy in Cairo, represented the Emirates at the meeting.
The meeting involved planning for addressing challenges such as terrorism and Islamophobia, according to the state news agency, Wam.
