Shaktar Donetsk midfielder Willian hopes a deal to let him join Chelsea can still be achieved, after admitting he was 'upset' at having a move blocked.
The Brazil international has been linked with a move to the Stamford Bridge outfit, with manager Mircea Lucescu claiming an offer of £25.5m was recently rejected.
"Regardless of the price, it is clear that the desire is great to play at a club like Chelsea, the champion of the Champions League," the 23-year-old told Globo Esporte.
"I'm really upset with the board for not letting me leave. It would be good for me and also for the club.
"I'd be in a big city and have the chance to grow professionally. This is not a message to anyone, everyone knows I want to leave.'

English Premier League newcomers Southampton have avoided any red tape to secure Steve Davis from stricken Scottish side Rangers - after paying an undisclosed fee to sign him.
The former Ibrox skipper had originally agreed to join Southampton under freedom of contract after refusing to transfer his contract to the Rangers newco set up by Charles Green.
But rather than face the delay of waiting for a ruling by Fifa, the Premier League club has paid an undisclosed sum - thought to be around £800,000 - to sign the player.
Northern Ireland international Davis joins on a four-year deal.

Manchester City rookie Omar Elabdellaoui has joined Feyenoord on a season-long loan deal.
The Norway Under-21 international, who has yet to make an appearance for City's first team, follows in the footsteps of team-mate John Guidetti after his prolific season in Holland.
"It's an exciting challenge for me and it gives me the opportunity to play regular first-team football that will obviously benefit me and hopefully City as well in the long-term," Elabdellaoui said.

Why it pays to compare
A comparison of sending Dh20,000 from the UAE using two different routes at the same time - the first direct from a UAE bank to a bank in Germany, and the second from the same UAE bank via an online platform to Germany - found key differences in cost and speed. The transfers were both initiated on January 30.
Route 1: bank transfer
The UAE bank charged Dh152.25 for the Dh20,000 transfer. On top of that, their exchange rate margin added a difference of around Dh415, compared with the mid-market rate.

Route 2: online platform
