Italy manager Antonio Conte and his German counterpart Joachim Low dominate The National Sport front page on Saturday, July 2 ahead of their Euro 2016 quarter-final showdown.

Ahead of the start of the tournament, expectations were low surrounding Italy, with Conte conceding that he possessed a squad lacking the star power of previous Italy sides.

However, the Azzurri have been one of the standout sides in France, and their recent 2-0 victory over defending champions Spain in the last 16 proved their title credentials.

Previewing the quarter-final from an Italian perspective, Ian Hawkey focuses on Conte, the man whose clever calculus has created a winning formula for Italy.

Meanwhile, Germany, the World Cup champions, will need to break their recent poor record against Italy if they are to progress to the final four.

As Richard Jolly previews, Germany insist there is no Italy trauma, but now they have to prove it.
