In prolific pair Harry Kane and Dele Alli, Tottenham have themselves one dynamic duo, one that combined for all four goals scored against overwhelmed Watford in Premier League action on Sunday night.

Alli adorns The National’s Sport cover for Monday, January 2, 2017.

In his analysis from England, Richard Jolly writes how the duo are performing perfectly for manager Mauricio Pochettino."

“It was (Pochettino’s) vision being played out perfectly: youth and energy, attacking intent and skill, a triumph hewn on the training ground, borne of collectivism and clinched by the twin emblems of the new Tottenham.

“Harry Kane and Dele Alli — one home-grown, the other acquired young and both moulded by Pochettino — struck twice apiece.”

Next up for Tottenham: a home match with table-topping, red-hot Chelsea.
