The National has launched a new newsletter which will provide an invaluable guide to what is going on in the Middle East.

‘The Middle East Today’ features the major news stories of the day from the region, and explains why they matter. It serves as a guide to some of our most interesting content which will help subscribers build a great understanding of this part of the world. It will land in your in-box every day from Monday to Friday at 7am GMT (11am GST).

Based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, but with a network of foreign correspondents and videographers across the region and beyond, The National has become an indispensable source of news and analysis for the Middle East and beyond. We have major bureaux in Beirut, Cairo and Riyadh plus a network of correspondents everywhere from Baghdad to Tunis – and expanding teams in London and Washington.

‘The Middle East Today’ becomes our third newsletter. Our existing daily one, now called ‘The UAE Today’, will continue to round up the most important and entertaining stories with a focus on the Emirates (it arrives every day from Sunday to Friday at 6am GST). And every Saturday, you can still get ‘Best of the week’ – showcasing out most unmissable stories, videos and podcasts from the previous seven days.
