Is there anything Rihanna can't do? Her music career needs no introduction, she is now at the head of one of fastest growing beauty brands around, and her size-inclusive lingerie line has won the praise of women around the globe.

And now it seems the star is set to turn her hand to high fashion, as she reportedly prepares to launch her own label alongside LVMH – the company behind Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Celine and Dior.

While plans are still said to be in the discussion phase, it is thought the luxury fashion house would launch under Rihanna’s name and feature ready-to-wear pieces and accessories.

If the plans come to fruition, it will mark the first time LVMH has launched a new label since Christian Lacroix in 1987. The Grammy-winner is also expected to release her ninth studio album in 2019.

Speculation began to grow earlier this week when Rihanna was spotted out in New York wearing a pair of sunglasses which appeared to be from a ‘Fenty’ label.

It has since been reported that together with LVMH, Rihanna began assembling her fashion team in Paris six months ago. While nothing has been confirmed yet, the star has proven both her flair for business and her style prowess over the years, so a step into luxury fashion might just be the next logical move.
