American tattoo artist and founder of her eponymous make-up brand, Kat Von D, has teamed up with the co-founder of make-up giant Too Faced Cosmetics, Jerrod Blandino, for a limited-edition collection.

Marrying Von D’s signature bold and edgy vibe with Too Faced’s feminine and playful style, the range features the Better Together Ultimate Eye Collection (Dh275), Cheek & Lip Makeup Bag Set (Dh165) and the Bestselling Mascara & Liner Duo (Dh90).

The heart-shaped eyeshadow palette features a mix of 12 glitter, metallic and matte shades – six each from the two brands – all of which have been created for this collaboration. The palettes are interlocked magnetically and can be detached to use individually. While the Too Faced palette features feminine hues like gold, pink, chocolate brown and a purply mauve, the Kat Von D palette houses red, matte black, grey, champagne and dull gold hues. The palette also comes with Too Faced’s Better Than Love Mascara, and Kat Von D’s best-selling Tattoo Liner in the shade Trooper.

As part of the collection, Blandino and Von D also collaborated on cute make-up pouches, the design of which was inspired by their respective pets – the former’s dog and the latter’s cat – and features mini sizes of their best-selling products.

The Mascara & Liner duo features minis of Too Faced’s Better Than Love Mascara and Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Trooper.

The collection will be available at from February 15 to March 1, and in Sephora Middle East stores from March.
