Celebrities wear Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad at the 2017 Golden Globes

Lebanese couturier Zuhair Murad was the label of choice for many celebrities at last night's 2017 Golden Globe Awards. The Paris-based designer, who was born in Ras Baalbek, Lebanon, has garnered an extensive celebrity following since he launched his label in 1999, with high-profile actresses and singers sporting his creations every award season. Last night was no exception — Lily Collins, Jenna Dewan Tatum and Sofia Vergara are just some of the women who arrived wearing Murad's decadent gowns.

Actress Lily Collins wore a Zuhair Murad princess-style lace-adorned ball gown in a feminine tea pink shade. A pouty red lip and dramatic up-do completed her fairy tale look. Actress Tracee Ellis rocked an embellished cage dress by Zuhair Murad, and left her neck bare, instead stacking dazzling rings on her fingers. Elsa Pataky, wife of actor Chris Hemsworth, accessorised her sheer, strapless Zuhair Murad gown with a simple strand of diamonds, while actress Jenna Dewan Tatum, wife of Channing Tatum, opted for a navy blue gown by Zuhair Murad, which she paired with a matching clutch and ring. Finally, actress Sofia Vergara wowed in a Zuhair Murad creation that combined sheer netting with rose gold and silver accents, cut-out shoulders and a dramatic train.

Luxury gowns by Zuhair Murad can be found in the UAE at Harvey Nichols Dubai.
