Watch the film Fidelio: Alice's Journey as part of the Ciné Day La nouveauté series, a new concept by Alliance Française Dubai, which features a recent French film each month. The 2014 drama focuses on Alice (Ariane Labed), a sailor, who embarks on a journey as a mechanic on an old cargo ship, Fidelio. She soon discovers that the first love of her life, Gaël (Melvil Poupaud), is the ship's captain, and she finds a notebook that belonged to her predecessor, who recently died.
