Al Ain adds Ivorian midfielder

With its foreign legion reduced to the Argentine Jose Sand, the league's leading scorer last season, Al Ain went out and found a useful international today, completing a deal with  Ibrahim Keita, 25, a midfielder from the Ivory Coast who had been with Al Qadisya of Kuwait, our colleague Amith Passela reports.

Keita completed his medical tonight and may even play for Al Ain in their opener against Dubai on Saturday as a late replacement for Soufiane Alloudi, the Moroccan forward who has been ruled out for four months with a knee injury suffered during a friendly against Al Shabab of Syria last weekend.
